Hi everyone.
Yes…I am alive.
I took a little absence from the bloggy as in the past few days… my parents have come home from Aruba (they were there for a month), my sociology course started yesterday (so I have been doing reading for that), and Lee left this morning. So I have been spending time with him 
You understand? Lee is waiting to hear back about jobs so please cross your fingers for him! That would be so awesome to have him relatively close to me! The jobs are between 20 minutes to an hour away from my home. Trust me, that is WAY better then 10-24 hours. Right now he is around 10 hours away and last year he was a day and a half drive away!
Also… my grandpa is doing *ok*. I stress ok just because it is kinda sad. He is having to be heavily sedated all of this week because he would not listen to doctors or nurses when he wasn’t sedated. He has to keep his hip still for it to set and he just can’t understand that fact! Aside from that… everything is ok.
Just wanted to let you in on some little updates around here. I added a southbeach heading which, if you click on you will be able to follow any updates to do with that and I’ve also added a quote of the day on the side bar! I’m just nerdy like that 
I will start back with the foodie pictures tomorrow. I’ve still be following high protein low sugar and had 2 splurges (one planned and one unplanned) in the last little while I think I’m doing ok!

Aw, I’m sorry to hear that your grandfather’s under sedation — My grandfather is a rebel any time he has been in the hospital (he’s 93) — so much so that they have to put little red booties on him that signify that he is a flight risk (again…93, deaf and blind). He’s a character.
Your grandfather’s still in my prayers!! and I’m keeping fingers and toes crossed for Lee! That’d be great if he was that much closer!! You two are too cute.
How’s your sociology class going? I know it was only the first day, but did you like it?!
