Before And In Progress
This is so scary! But I had to do it!
In may 2008, I decided that I needed a change from the unhealthy university student life I was leading, packed up my bags and moved home! I joined a gym and dedicated myself to eating clean. Since then, I have lost almost 40 pounds and am continuing this weight loss journey! I know I have a long way to go, but am so proud of my progress thus far.
This was me at 215 pounds taken February 2008

whoa double chin and all!
Here is my work in progress shot! Taken January 2009

and

hubba hubb! Myself and my wonderful boyfriend Lee. Taken New years 2009!!
Now this all isn’t to say that I never binge or have slip ups anymore. Nope. I do all the time acually. I’v had several bad binges, slipups, made mistakes with my eating…but every day that comes is a new day, so I pick myself up, brush myself off and start again! Thats all we can really do
My journey is always ongoing. It’s a slow, painful recovery. Someones gotta do it!

You are such a strong person, and a true inspiration for other.
I struggle with anorexia, so it is not the same, but I do know how difficult the relationship regarding food can become. You seem to have come such a far way, and the awareness of your problem is the key to health and recovery.
Wish you the best
